Abstract

In Italy, the Radiographers (or Radiologic technologists) Code of ethics addresses the challenges introduced by artificial intelligence, recognizing it as a support tool and not as a substitute for professional judgment. The Radiographer needs advanced skills, attention to the protection of data confidentiality, a guarantee of transparency and critical supervision of the reliability of the results. The contribution, enriched by examples taken from professional experience, translates the rules of conduct of article 87 into concrete actions, highlighting any application complexities also with respect to Law no. 132/2025.
